Hej,
my name is Simone Steuxner, born and raised in Austria/Tyrol.
I emigrated to Sweden in 2013 together with my partner and our rescued sled dogs.
In the same year I was caught by the quilting bug and never looked back since.
My focus is on designing and sewing quilts for show and sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge with others by giving different quilting classes.
I have won several national and international awards for my quilts.
If I am not busy quilting and sewing you will find me in the garden or with our sled dogs out in nature, the camera always at hand.
My heart beats for nature and wildlife, and photography gives me the chance to raise awareness and hopefully helps grow consiousness in people for our beautiful planet, mother earth.
